I illustrated the person holding the dagger in this cover with the program Adobe Illustrator. This was an project during my internship at Rouwhorst+Van Roon.

De brief voor de koning
For a school project I made a book cover for De Brief Voor De Koning.
While reading the book I was captivated by a special moment during the beginning of the book. the main character was fleeing from enemies to deliver a letter to the king. It was mentioned how scared he was in the dark forest. Yet the main character managed to muster the courage to persevere.
I think this is a beautiful message, especially because it was a recurring theme in the book. No matter how scared the main character was, he never gave up. I based my assignments on this theme.

For an school project I designed and illustrated an bookcover for a fictive story. It’s about a world where humans don’t exist anymore, and creatures live among the trash created by humans. The target group was children between 10-12 year old.
